I/O Controllers with CAN and Signal Converters

Our wide variety of industry standard data signal conversion modules provide complete, cost-effective solutions for interfacing, conditioning and distributing critical analog signals. Axiomatic signal converters typically accept an external universal power of 12V, 24V or 36V and provide input-to-output isolation. Signal isolation protects measurement and control signals as well as sensitive controls from the effects of noise, power surges and other hazards present in industrial data acquisition and battery-powered machine environments. The modules are designed to mount on a DIN rail.

Signal level I/O modules with CAN bus communications reduce field wiring costs while establishing an economical, manageable approach for system expansion and repair. These CAN devices are available with standard embedded software or can be modified for OEM specific applications. The microprocessor-based analog I/O signal conditioners are available in an IP67 rated enclosure for use on rugged applications as part of a total machine control solution.

ANALOG VALVE DRIVERS - Proportional Valve Controller/Amplifier - Coil Mount

This proportional valve controller/amplifier offers performance in a small package. Efficient power circuitry, independent ramp adjustments, and ease of use are the main design features. It supplies a solenoid valve with current proportional to an input control (0-5 VDC, 0-20 mA, potentiometer or pre-set level). A wide range of power supply voltages from 9 to 32 VDC are accepted. This linear solenoid controller utilizes high frequency switching output (PWM) to provide a maximum DC current output of 2000 mA, 1600 mA, 1200 mA, 800 mA or 600 mA. The user can adjust maximum and minimum current. A current sensing circuit maintains current output regardless of changes in input voltage or coil resistance. The superimposed dither frequency and amplitude can also be adjusted to suit the application. The unit utilizes a DIN 43650 connector for mounting directly on the coil. The controller is CE certified. UL listed versions are available.

ANALOG VALVE DRIVERS - Economy Version: Proportional Valve Controller/Amplifier - Coil Mount

The economy version of the proportional valve controller/amplifier simplifies control of proportional solenoids by supplying a current proportional to an input control (0-5 VDC or 10K potentiometer). This linear solenoid controller utilizes high frequency switching output (PWM) to provide a DC current output. Maximum current output is 2 Amps (1 Amp version available). A current sensing circuit maintains current output regardless of changes in input voltage or coil resistance. The user can adjust maximum and minimum current. Dither frequency and amplitude are factory set. In this economy version of the controller/amplifier there are no ramps. The unit is available with a DIN 43650 connection to mount directly on the coil and comes complete with 2 meters of unterminated cable. The controller has a CE mark for compliance to the EMC Directive.
